Wow.

Did she ever look...confused.

Posted

WE should be so confused that we create and then worship Idols that basically equate to teh tart falvor of the week. How we love them when they can still tittalate, how we love to throw them in the fire when they tumble off their pedastles into the quagmire that is everyday people.

she looked lost to me, unsure of who she is now....looked alot like the people i see walkign around every day....

Yeah, her performance certainly did lack that certain perfection that I've seen her do in the past. I don't really follow her, but I remember one performance she did with a snake and a half nakkie outfit, and her dance moves were tight, this looked like she was just flopping around and not really sure of the coreography. I feel bad for her, maybe a few more practice sessions and she would have it down. *shakes head*

We just have to realize that not every performance is the best every time, I think when these happen, the stars wish they probably weren't on something as widely brocasted as the VMA.

Could you tell the people in the audience felt for her? eeks..

How on earth do you FORGET to lip sync to your own song the whole way through when your being paid that much just to walk around and fake it???

And she needs help stepping down? Her dancing sucks these days even and that is what she did best.

Hell Madonna dances better and she is like what, 45 now?

Oh dear GOD. That really WAS a train wreck.

It's a shame Dr. K had to retire after he was released from prison.

Wow, I'm actually embarrassed for her.

Why ? Its her fault that her performance sucked. It looked like just getting on stage was almost too much effort for her.

or maybe less dope, less anti depressants, more sleep, less partying until the wee hours of the morning the entire week leading up to the show, less cootchie shots, more real hair, less freakouts, and no more fucking PRO TOOLS that makes mediocre singers (at best) with nice titties into superstars....

in a way I sort of dont blame her. she was a teenager when she was dropped into this fake hit making machine that is the music business, its an evil biz that does not care about its stars at all, they care about profit and product and sometimes even help want to dump loads of money into even though they have a contract with them.....they WILL let an album tank intentionally.

This chick started young and came out the other end of the mold a used up wreck. (hit me baby one more time)

Posted

Uggghhh....she looks SO like...gooey. Her body is so not superstar status anymore, she's quite the tub pudge. Even I'm probably skinnier than that. She can't keep a beat for shit now and the only thing she could do before, which would be lip synching, was poor at best.

Ugh Brit, don't let the door hit you in your fat ass

Now she's even getting her kids taken away (not yet confirmed, but it was on the news this morning that it's a very strong possiblity that K Fed will end up with the babies) because a few eyewitnesses who are close to Spears says she's a horrible mom and does drugs in front of her kids.

I almost feel bad because I feel responsible, this was my biggest dream to happen in highschool when she was Ms. Fame and I HATED HER GUTS. BLECH. I think I wished it into being true

Posted

Her life is falling around her feet faster than she can pick it back up... stress like none of us have ever known pushed on her from a young age... drugs and alchahol tossed on toop of that... with a failed marrige tearing her already fragile life to bits... all of it under the Microscope of Fame....

so.. people call her fat, forgetting she has had two children in the last few years... compareing her body to when she was a teenager and on top of her game...

and rail on her for showing up to work drunk and or high...

You made her the way she is. (You = People in General)

leave her alone...

Why I have no sympathy for people like this who end up in the shithole:

1) They have a job that a major, major number of people only dream of. They don't have a clue how blessed they are to even get the chance.

2) "Throwing them into the entertainment business is like throwing them to the wolves." Bull-fucking-shit. Stupid people do stupid things - no matter what their job description.

3) Fake talent only carries you so far. Brings me back to my hatred of Ma-fucking-donna. Made it mandatory for female musicians (using the term loosely when referring to people like Britney) to be gorgeous hardbodies - whether they can carry a tune or not. These talentless bimbos get away with musical murder - then rocket to the ground, crashing and burning when they can't shake their ass & tits they way they once did. Meanwhile, truly talented musicians who can sing or play angels to weeping don't even get a foot in the door - if they're fat, old, unattractive, average.

I would love to see people like this deal with normal life. Flipping burgers. Cleaning hotel rooms. REPAIRING DOORS.

Bah, fuck 'em.

<-- bitter, maybe? :whistle::baby::huh:

I am in total agreement with everything you just said and can add nothing more.

I'm in total fucking agreement with both of you and do have something to add.

I know but Brit had a kid or two, but she needs to take her ass to the gym, and quick. As a popDIVA, that would assume to me she should at least be skinny, not fat like she is now, I watched the VMA clip out of curiousness and was like "ugghh...talk about more cushion for the pushin" I almost had to turn it off...it was freakin' gross. Okay...so right now you probably all think I'm shallow, but I'm one of those shallow girls who at least knows it (I don't blow people off if they're ugly/fat to me, I embrace everyone as people, but I do have a mild instinct to judge by appearance, which I try to block out in everyday life but when it comes to famous stars, I mean that's kinda why they're there right?), but also, on this note hear me out. Take into consideration "supermodel" Tyra Banks...she used to be gorgeous! Had the perfect body right? Body chicks would kill for....and have you seen her on magazines lately in line at the grocery store? I have...and she's fat. It even says right on the front of the mag that she's all like loving how she gained weight (I mean wayyy WAY more than Brit did, like Tyra Banks is way heavier than even myself now). Now if I'm not mistaken isn't it a supermodel's JOB to be beautiful? Everyone keeps saying "Oh don't be hard on Brit, don't be hard on divas and models who get heavy" and why? If I stopped doing my shit at work and got lazy and let my performance go...I'd be fired. So why are these girls still so famous and in the limelight for being mediocre, lazy, and pudgy? That's what I don't get...

LOL.

ROFLMAO<--and shaking my head sadly at the same time.

"that's kinda why they're there, right?" and "As a popDIVA, that would assume to me she should at least be skinny" really, really emphasizes my point that music stars are stars for all the wrong reasons today.

The only thing I would assume of a DIVA is that they have a killer voice.

And as for Tyra Banks, she doesn't make her living as a model anymore. It's not her main gig. She's a talk show host, reality show producer/star, etc. And while I don't idolize her or even have her in my top 10 of "most admired people", I'd hardly - HARDLY - call her mediocre or lazy.

And I'd definitely still call her beautiful.

I don't defend the fat for the sake of defending fat people. Especially not simply because I am fat. No, matter of fact, I'm not even attracted to fat guys myself, so I have a bit of my own guilt in the "judging by appearance" category.

But damn, I hardly think that when a person puts on extra pounds, it automatically makes them "mediocre, lazy, ugly or gross." In the current case of Britney, I think she just needed to rethink the midriff-baring outfit a bit. "Bigger" is one thing. You can be "not skinny" and be beautiful, but I think it helps to be toned, which she is not. If I were 20 lbs heavier than her, I'd still be in much, much better shape than I am now, but I'd still be careful what I wear.

It's official...she's a big joke now. She really needs to have her boys taken away from her for good. She's an unfit parent.

NEW YORK — Kanye West blames MTV for Britney Spears' less than stellar performance at the Video Music Awards.

"Man, they were just trying to get ratings, and they knew she wasn't ready and they exploited her," the 29-year-old rapper said Tuesday on Sirius Satellite Radio's "The Morning Mash Up."

The network made a "bad move" by having the troubled pop star open Sunday's event in Las Vegas, said West, who feels he should have kicked off the show with "Stronger," the first single from his new album, "Graduation."

"They exploited her, they played me and I really don't mess with MTV," he said.

Spears, 25, looked unprepared while performing her new song, "Gimme More," to a bewildered audience of her music industry peers. She seemed nervous and, at times, stopped singing altogether.

In a praise-filled statement released Tuesday afternoon, MTV said it "... has a long and collaborative relationship with Kanye and we hope and look forward to continuing that meaningful relationship."

West said he wanted to perform "Stronger" on the show's main stage -- where R&B hotshot Chris Brown wowed the crowd with Michael Jackson-esque dance moves -- but complied when he was asked to host a suite party.

------------------------------------

...but.....she DID know it was coming, it was her CHOICE not to practice......and no one forced drugs down her throat which she was obvioulsy on.

I agree with him to a point, but when your rich and famous you have to be strong so these things dont happen, isn't your strength what got you to the top in the first place?

I am glad I am just one more mediocre middle class citizen. I have pressure, make mistakes......but at least I am not living under a miscroscope.

Is Elvis still alive someplace?
