Dgn Night Aftermath - September 15th

How was everyone's night?

I visited with an old friend - Purple Rain. It was fun, but between the fuzzies (no hangover, thank heaven) and the TMI last night, those visits should remain in the very occasional realm.

I was there with a friend. It was a good time, lots of people out.

I ran into Damaged Angel, Chernobyl, Dark Angel, and Muggin and a few others that my alcohol clouded memory cannot recall.

Brother_Hood got to listen to me ramble about my shitty night.

I made it out for the first time in quite a while last night...ran into a few people =) Drank a lil too much, but had a blast. Looks like I have to go again next weekend.

Saint Germain introduced himself to me while I was on break from the first set of DJ'ing. Talked a bit about Germany vs. Detroit, clubs, good music/bad music and Ronan/VNV. Cool to meet him.

Other than that, enjoyed the second set (playlist soon), had fun and kept to myself pretty much.

I went with Lillylu29 and sloth40. It was cool. I of course saw Chernobyl there, The Craven Raven and Saint Germain.

Wooleybooley was there with a bunch of people, too. smile.gif They came later than we did, though. So we were only there for a bit of the same time.

I also found out I need to keep wearing my Cthulhu shirt when I go, because by virtue of that I was recognizeable to some more DGNers I met on our way out: damagedangel and Brother Hood.

pfft I went. Saw two dg.ners, can't for the life of me remember their names, sorry folks. But *sigh* I didn't get to meet anyone else. Sheesh, I sat on the couch, dressed in black pants and red long sleved shirt. Black hair with black and red dreds, glasses. I saw shawn, but thats about it. Heck, the only ppl I would know for a fact, went to a party. *grumbles at DarkChylde and Darque Metallion* But next time I go, Ima gonna have VIVIAN written on my forehead or something. I swear, dg.ners should wear name tags or something. or write their dgn name on their hand. opposite hand where they write the word/ X of course. *glares at hand* I wish they wouldn't use permanent markers, the grr is bled into my skin.

Okay, I'm sick and rambling. It's time for bed.

We had a really good time. The night seemed a bit on the surreal side, but I could have been partly caused by my lack of sleep and drunken haze. Not many DGNers out(though as always, it looks like I missed a few), but a nice mix of people.

I got to meet Neveah and Saint Germain, twas nice meeting you both.

Hung out with Chernobyl and Craven Raven for a bit, you guys make a cute couple.

Daevion, Damaged Angel and Shade, we had fun hanging out, thanks for letting us bum drinks.

But you know what? Mysteriously either Shelley (door girl) really likes me or they changed the rules about cameras, because I waltzed right the hell in with mine. I came and was one of the people vivian doesn't remember meeting. No one else sitting on the couch the few times I went up to the bar for a refill. Mostly danced all nite. Had fun and will have to go back soon.
