I think what LuluVox is trying to say is she imagined I had some sort of caffeinated cola beverage in my possession Friday night. There is some hearsay testimony to this effect and I would be lying if I said no such red-labeled concoction crossed my path this weekend.

The bigger picture being, of course, that I don't find myself in these situations on a daily basis and that is still going quite well.

It seriously is addicting. I saw my sister go through some ugly times because of Dew withdrawal. Then she got pregnant, and totally cut herself off; that was 4 years ago, and she still barely drinks it. We're all very proud.

But I still say you should have one.  I am not a fan of the denying of pleasures.

My ex's cousin continued to drink Dew while pregnant and nursing and, for the longest time, had trouble figuring out why he baby couldn't get to sleep at night.

Turned out her boob-juice was caffeinated.

The dye in Code Red will clump together if left in a hot car over a weekend in July in Los Angeles. It will clump together and reveal regular ol' Mountain Dew. I've actually seen this happen -- it was my Mountain Dew and the car belonged t my boyfriend at the time. I've since become convinced that the different "flavour" is purely in one's own head and it's just a ploy to get people to buy more Mountain Dew.
