This looks like so much fun! Too bad I'm not outta work til 6pm.... :(

I saw the flyer today at the Ferndale Art Fest. I'm going to be busy... Otherwise I'd be tempted.

shit, all i'd have to do is live in total darkness for about a month to get rid of any skin color... then throw on my usual "too poor to afford new clothes" attire and this would be in the bag for me...

but alas, i've exposed myself to the sun the past few days... rats....

Fuck yes...I'll so make the Oct 20th one. I'd go that day, but 29th is Reaper's party, don't wanna bite off more than I can chew, you know?

Since I'm the undead, I surely will fit in there...

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAINNS!

Depending on what time his party starts. I might make it.

Although I could use a ride, my car will be stuck in a mall parkinglot for the evening.

hehehehe! tempting!

This looks fun. I may go if I can drag some people with me. No fun to be the undead by yourself.

Thanks TornWillow! I appreciate you posting this! :)

I'm glad some of you can make it to the one on the 29th! ...and sorry that some of you can't. :( It's looking like it's going to be crazy and fun!

There is the other one on the 20th though, yes. I wanted to head out, but alas- it's the night of Theatre Bizarre. :( (sorry- Theatre Bizarre is a 'no-miss' thing for me...)

If anyone has any questions there's a FAQ page on the site- or you can email me through ZombieWalkDetroit.com

Take care!

I am looking forward to it!

I think I need to get out some aggression- growling at people sounds like the way to go.

GASP! I hope I can get a ride...

Are you actually going to wheel around or are you going to drag yourself in true zombie style?

I don't know though has this issue been addressed in the movies.

I'd have to guess "Night of the Living Dead" crawl "Return of the Living Dead" wheel (since in that one they could still remember basic to advanced things).

I guess I will be on the dinner menu. Be gentle with me please. Party after fo sho.

...just went to Salvation Army and got THEE most horrendous preppy outfit to be slaughtered as vittles in...!

And I got someone to be slaughtered with me.......I hope we make the 11 oclock news.

I have no idea what to wear! Value world had nothing. Rrgh!

That was such a blast!!!! I got slaughtered as a 1950's cheerleader lol it was sooo much fun walking around mentioning BRAINS to all the yuppies while they ate on the sidewalk in R.O. all blood splattered......I will be at the one in the rich people Mall with my kids next time, they promised they will go......so you all should to. I can't wait for that one, not sure I want to do this in Hamtramck as its not the nice little whitey tightey oasis it used to be, that area is starting to scare me. But Summerset? Oh count me in fo sho.

Posted

argh! How was it? I was so excited about going but EVERYONE I planned on going with backed out.... I cried. I am for sure hitting up the one Oct. 20th. Sorry I didn't make it. :cry

Omfg...It's gonna be at Sommerset? Dude...no way, I'm in. Also, we can then run at people like the zombies in the Mall of America (Dawn of the Dead) instead of walking. ROCK ONness!

VERY good turnout. We had to slow down and go 2-3 at a time, we crowded the sidewalk so much......found two victims on the street to get slaughtered and join in.....kudos to those two.

Many people out that day with cameras following us around too.

Awesome costumes....I got slaughtered by a almost nakey jesus and he was hot......a bit young though.

Then some girls walked by and said, look a naked guy!

This older couple had their eyes pecked out by crows.....and on this old lady type hat sat the crow with an eye in its beek! Top that.

I believe pics and/or footage will be found here soon:

My son and his buddies did it. I had NO idea till he came home all blood-stained! We were on our way to D'Amatos and saw all the fun! Ian just had the BEST time. That makes me happy. He wants to do it again, too!

Thanks for the links again. I am seriously going to try and make the Oct 20th one with my daughter. I think she would have a blast being a zombie and I know I would for sure!
