DJ Nocker Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 For me, the movies that make the majority of society sad don't bother me, but a lot of movies that are not meant to be are the ones that hit me. For example, everyone said "Requiem For A Dream" was very depressing, I thought it was boring... But "Lady In The Water" made me choke up a little. Are there any movies out there that pull your heart strings that arent really meant to?

Destroit Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Garden State. Who ever really finds love like that? That moves me, but doesn't make me cry. I just watched that the other night actually, like it gives you chills, but not full force tear-ness (but I do love Frou Frou - Let Go at the end of the movie). Ghost always makes me and my mother cry like 5 year old little girls. You think I'm kidding, come over and watch it with us. We're all like "OMFGGGG....OMFGGGG...*sob*...omfg it's so...he's in heaven....it's so sad" all holdin' each other and shit like little pusses. There...now that you know our deepest darkest secret...
phee Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I got a bit choked up at Saving Private Ryan... but then again when all is said and done I am undernieth it all... a hetrosexual male... Silent Running.... It gets me a very primitive child way... Usually something where a dog dies.... yeah, unlike a cat dying which usually results in a chuckle... Showgirls... because it was so fucking awful
Hellion Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Even though most of my feelings are gone for good,Feelings what feelings,LOL! the only movie that had an impact on me, which I doubt anyone here ever heard of it was "Threads"
