OH...MY...GOD!!!!

I don't know if any of you have gotten a chance to see the full theatrical trailer for this amazing movie, but I am soo damn geeked for this I wish it were May already.

If you haven't seen it yet, here's a link

Episode III Trailer

I have never been speechless about any of the Star Wars movies, and this trailer has me at a lose for words.

I'm soo excited to wait in line on April 19th for this one.

I've cheated and read the full plot treatment for the movie. I won't give anything away, but I'll say I'm excited to see the movie. I broke down because, honestly, I received Episodes I and II in a very lukewarm way. I enjoyed them as good popcorn movies, but they were hallow and poorly executed. But, I have a very soft place in my heart for Star Wars, so I keep hoping this one will be good. I really believe it is going to be hype.

I started watching "The Clone Wars" cartoon last night, incidentally. It is pretty hype.

Ditto all that. I'm hoping for the best, though thusfar, I've been so disappointed by these prequels, I haven't been holding too much hope.

According to the buzz i read in an issue of starlog , and a peice i heard on the radio , the "kiddie bullshit" that many fans were not happy with , is rumored to be, being kept to a bare minimum for this one.

Yeah, and the bad dialogue too. In as far as I can tell, it is very action driven, so not much room for George to fuck it up with his screen writing excellence. And Palpatine is going to the man of the hour, I suspect.

This Episode is going to be the most violent of the six, according to Lucas. As it stands, it's going to be rated PG-13. From the looks of the trailer, I can see why.

Looks promising...not getting my hopes up to high considering the last two sucked.

i agree with daniel i went and saw robots to see the trailer on the big screen it better not let us down

The preview & interviews of the production team call this one "Adult Oriented" in it's content, themes, and undertones...& it's not going to have a happy ending, it's supposed to be brutal. YESSSSSSSS!!!! :devil

We know how it ends - with a bunch of freaking Ewoks dancing in trees.

God, I hated those things - and I was a 14 year-old girl when Jedi came out.

I still hated those things, and that lame song they sang at the end.

LOL, @ FC. But this one ends is death & destruction!!! YAYYY!!! :cat:

You know, a friend of mine and I were talking about the Ewoks for "Return of The Jedi" and I started to compare them with the Comic Relief of Jar Jar Binks in Episode I and II. He made a point that was very interesting.

Jar Jar was (by every definition) a cartoon character, and the Ewoks were a real thing and not in the movie for comic relief in any way.

The examples he made, that back up this claim, are the fact that we saw them in the most primative form of life, and we saw them die. All Jar Jar did, was make stupid comment that for most of the movie were hardly understandable.

Everyone knocks the Ewoks, for one reason or another and to me, that kinda sucks. I liked them.

Anyways, if it weren't for the Ewoks in "Jedi", we would get to see an entire planet populated by Wookies in Episode III. By the way, we get to see a rather young Chewie too.

Lets try this again!

We will take our 6 year old son to see this despite the rating. It pisses Bishop off terribly that toys are marketed for a movie that Lucas himself said he wouldn't take his kid to. Michael has been waiting a long time to see a Star Wars movie at the theater!

He doesn't care for Episode I very much. That really surprised me since it's about a little boy. He's watched Episode II a few times, but not lately. His fav is Empire Strikes Back. He puts that on about once a week and loves the part where the tool box falls on Hans Solo's head!!!
