you are silly... dude, have you seen some of the old style garter belts? more than just a front and back clip.. and they snapped to the thigh highs... :(

Actually I know what you mean, the clasps are shotty at best, and don't hold worth a crap. BUT I've had good ones with only two clasps, and they worked well.

I think the thing these days is "how to make it cheaper" not "better". I have to wager MOST of the stuff made back in the day was WAY better than it is now. Quantity is definitely valued over quality these days. *sighs*
