Wow....Chernabog? Chernobyl? Very close, no? I guess that makes you my new sidekick :tongue: since I have not had one in almost a year AND we have ALMOST the same screenname...freakishly so...

Were we separated at birth or something?

P.S. I am sorry to inform you that since DGNers shortened my name to Cher, you now will have your name shortened to Nabog, you know, to cancel out any confusion, having two Chers would just be silly :tongue:

Kay...to settle this (and everyone else in the forum listen up). From this day forth if you are lazy and do not want to say either Chernobyl or Chernabog....Chernabog shall be Cherna and I shall be Cher (pronounced Churr, like as in the beginning of the word "church") so now....if you mess us up we'll BOTH beat yer ass! :tongue:

Also...slavic god of darkness? That's badass I did not know that...and kind of ironic too since they named Chernobyl after that...and welll....now it's the city has lived up to its name :laugh:

Hello and welcome. :) I am currently dating a girl who is Slavic. Did you know in Disneys Fantasia (1940s) chernabog was the demon from the Night on Bald Mountain skit? Didn't realize Walt took it from Slavic Mythology.

And being as Chernobyl originated from Chernobog...wouldn't that make Chernobyl, Chernobog's bitch? Yeah, I said whatcha goin' to do Chernobyl? Huh? HUH?! :p

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

      Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

      Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
