picture them playing in the summer sun

by the garden

they sing there

we watch in their shadow

cool blue eyes shine from beneath

the mist of rain

mothers are sad

the shadow has gone

this one came about with refrigerator magnets, while i was babysitting. except *eyes* was not on one of the magnets. i added it to make more sense.
