I got quoted at ohhhh....i do not remember just a crap load of money... I AM GOING BROKE DRIVING A SUNFIRE!!! P.O.S.!!!!
Draco1958 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Oh I hear ya about cars. Check this out. In the past month, 2000 Montana taken in cuz #5 cylinder isn't firing plus needed A/C recharged, Oil change, Tune up, and a wiring check cuz it acted like it had a bad battery, cost was around $1600 when all done. Then the 95 Lumina went in for brakes and a weird scraping sound. Turned out rims were the wrong ones in the front so needed new rims plus rear rims were 14 in instead of 15 in so had to replace them, tires were dry rotted, replaced them plus tune up and some other things, total for that car was about $1500. My 92 Caddy, fixed one water leak to find a second that will need to be done in the shop. Main brake line to rear of car leaks like crazy. No idea what that will cost but don't have the money plus my friend who would loan me the money just put out $3100 on his 2 cars so he doesn't have it. So I don't know when I will be able to finally get my car on the road. Owning a car sucks.

Destroit Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Dude...you do not know crap cars until you have seen my mom's. It's a 1994 Geo Metro. Just that last sentence should explain to you the condition it's in. I'll tell you, there's a good reason they don't make them anymore...
