Tonight, I had a guy coming from Warren to pick up a TV I have for sale. He actually get sooooo lost, that despite my staying on the phone with him to direct him, he ended up giving up and going home.

My cousins are from Warren. And one of them admitted they hate trying to navigate downriver, because they get lost without "x-Mile" roads to go by.

So this guy just gave up? That's crazy. At that point it would become a quest, LOL! I generally don't have a problem getting to where I need to be. If where I am going is outside of my known area I grab a map and have a looksy prior to hitting the road or use one of the internet map sites and print out directions. So far, I've never gotten lost or have only been off track slightly.

As long as I can get a glimpse of a map first, I'm usually fine. I have a good sense of direction too. That said... I have gotten severely confused on occasion.

The guy was older, and claimed to not be able to see at night. I've dealt with this guy before, but went out his way. He is a touch eccentric.

He printed out directions from Mapquest. I usually ask people to please let me give them directions. Because Jon and I can attest to the fact that, occasionally, Mapquest will tell you to turn left - where you need to turn right.

I do well with maps. But I have a short memory when it comes to mapping. I can only remember a couple turns ahead of time, then I need to re-check the map.

I have never been lost. i have had that lost feeling for a few moments but I have always been able to take a few breaths.. look around and get my bearings. i walked all the way across Raliegh NC and found the place i was lookign for without ever having to ask for directions.

Well, when I working in EMS I had to learn quickly how to point A to point Z in one step so now, I can get anywhere!

I hate Joy road, every time I get really lost I see Joy road (I know of at least three different roads with that name).

I can go anywhere in the metro detroit area all the way from macomb county, up to genessee and over to washtenaw/wayne. So I'm covered. The thing I hate the most though is Outer Drive...GOD it throws you so off, 'cause it bends and twists everywhere very inconsistantly.
