Then count your blessings. LOL!

I once, stole a horse. I was like 15. I saw a horse who looked emancipated and abused and I just sorta um.....took it. Home. My mom made me give it back.

I started this thread because someone, WHO SHALL REMAIN nameless for nameless sake lol lol, just got engaged after only seeing her in person for *gulp* 3 days.

He was going to break the news to his mum (whom he temporarily is residing with) this way......

Show up on her doorstep hand in hand and break the news. :peanutbutterjellytime::happydance:rolleyes:

I talked him out of that approach. See thats the thing about having older friends with kids......we can give you a heads up about just how much of a no~no somethings are.

Any crazy shit you've pulled that drove your parents nuts?

My kids are pretty good but one wrecked a car already.

And one almost killed herself on a stick once......and slid down the stairs ontop of a full laundry basket, ending with her head in the door at the bottom. Its like a jackass movie around here. She also almost drowned getting her hips stuck in the pool ladder.

Most of the crazy shit I pulled my parents never knew about. I did run away from home my senior year, then, of course, I've had bad luck in chosing the men I've entered into relationships with. Those are the only things they were ever aware of. And for their sake I'd never clue them in. Somethings are just better left unknown.

I just had my hair dyed black & red.

And I know when my family sees it, they are going to be pissed.

I am approaching 40. I haven't lived at home for years. I'm a married woman.

And this will, literally, piss them off.

When I showed my mother my hairfalls & corsets, she just shook her head and in a very tired, exasperated voice, asked me, "Camille, when are you going to grow up?"

Never, I hope.

I suppose the most unusual, shocking thing I've done was when I first got together with Jon. We met online. He came up to Michigan on his motorcycle two months later, lived in a motel while working (got a job right off the bat). I did eventually introduce him to my parents, so they knew what was going on. But about 3 months later, his motorcycle died and he didn't have any choice but to move back to Florida - and I went with him. Just up and took off with a guy I'd known in person just over 3 months. Freaked everyone out, but things worked out in the end.

The week I got my driver's license I took my younger brother and sister on a 4 hour drive (without permission) to Gatlinburg to go have fun at the resorts and ride the ski lift up the mountain and back. It was summer and I tried to get back home before my parents got home from work, but it took me a bit more time to drive home than I thought.

I did call though, to let them know where we were and that I was on my way home.

Twas fun. My poor parents.

Also set the yard on fire playing with matches when I was 10.

Fortunately my dad was in the front yard and put it out when he saw the smoke.

Ahh. A fellow young pyro.

God, I loved playing with fire as a kid. Never really caught much on fire, though. Me and some kids were playing under a crabapple tree on an island on a cul-de-sac once, and caught a McDonald's cup on fire, and it took a minute to put it out. A guy nearby just said, "you get it out?" but left us alone.

I stole Taras car from Necto and stranded her right around Christmas last year. I puked at the bar and they tossed me then I puked outside. I was quite an experience once I realized my keys fit hers and she was taking too long finishing her drink at the bar while I was fucking freezing outside, so, yes I stole Taras car.

Dated Nate. =.-

I did a full 360 across all three lanes of I-75 and wound up in a ditch, missing every single car going across. This was back in March before I turned 21.

Friends and I were in a band in college. One day, while we were in the apartment building I lived in (Which the school owned and was slowly being turned into student housing) my friend Matt, the drummer, noticed that the service elevator had a electrical outlet in it. *Bing* He thinks it would be a great idea to get our equipment in it and play. I concur!! So at the end of the semester, I have a party and the guys bring a minimal setup of equipment over. Later in the evening we quickly roll it in, set up and start playing while going up and down. There were a few pissed off people. We hid in another apartment. :-)

Then there's the time that a friend and I were coming home from Todds (Club on the East side back in college days) when it was snowing. I had a little Honda Civic. We get on the highway... I'm a little buzzed... Start goofing around , jerk the wheel and start us sliding towards the side of the road. We hit the curb and roll slowly. The car is tiny and light.... It hardly dented anything. We did lose the windshield though. and we were obviously fine. Laughing actually. So... We see an ambulance coming a couple minutes afterwards and we're thinking "That seems awful quick for help to arrive." It was. They motored right past us. Some friends from the club saw us and stopped. They helped us roll the car back over and we justed hopped back in and motored (coldly) home.

Ahh, Todds.

Had quite the reputation when I was in high school. The only chick in school more new wave than me tried to get me to go there once. I was too chicken, too intimidated. I wish I'd have gone.

I don't feel so bad about my kid turning in front of that guy now. At least she didn't steal a car and she was under age. Marc. God. I am glad you grew up.

Now Dave, thats a different story.

I wish you had kept that recording it was funny.

Wish I had recordings of all your girl friends mad phone calls that would be hellarious.

Hell, I think being born was enough to drive my parents nuts. Mainly because they didn't know what they were getting themselves into by having a daughter. LOL Seriously though, I'll have to think about it because there's quite a few things that I did that probably would've have gotten me kicked out if I didn't have my mom around. I'll get back to ya on it.

Playing around with gunpowder and pipe bombs under the influence of alcohol, around 20 years ago,no more having that kind of fun.

Messed with Lighters/Fireworks/Gas/Gunpowder, skated down some semi-big hills when there was oncoming traffic.

Almost burned down Stark School with a Mountain Dew 2 liter full of gasoline.

Actually, the only reason it didn't burn down was because someone saw the fire and called the LFD.

Fell asleep, drunk of course, at a stop light a couple years ago.

Also, 2 years ago, left a halloween party to find food at around 3am, and drove through a part of Southfield Road that had been sectioned off for construction, nailed a construction sign, and ended up with my van in a big hole where the road had been taken out for repaving. Ttogreh was there for the aftermath. I don't think anyone expected me to return alive.

I've since stopped with the drunk driving.
