predaking Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Sooooo since we've had pretty much every picture thing going from "sexy goth chicks" to "sexy goth guys" I decided that we need a category for goth people who are just plain fashion badasses, those renegades of style. You know, the people you see at places like City Club that have cooler outfits, falls, makeup, ideas, etc than your average person. Well, let's start with Japan, just for the sheer fact that 9 times out of 10 they're better than we are . As you all know, I'm quite the Fashion Hoe, and so therefore I'm madly in love with Harajuku. I wanna move to Japan and seriously dress up and hang around Harajuku Station all day looking damn sweet for no apparant reason whatsoever. So...I'll post the first picture, of one of these Harajuku girls: Go on now peeps...post away, what you think, is total badass gothness (any kind of goth will do too, everything from cybergoth to raver kids. I'm not talking traditional "goth" necessarily) It can even be pictures of yourself, if you think you can own up to Teh Sass, that is I'm sure I can dig up some of myself where I was pretty damn bizarre, that's for sure. I know this is a old post, but after reading it I have to say I do miss walking down the street and seeing all the cute Japanese goth girls. I used to live there you see, and they were everywhere!
DJDeadbeat Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Everyone looks great, but that is such a dreadful picture of me. haha!
Homicidalheathen Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 How about goths who make you go...THANK GOD I DON'T LOOK LIKE THAT. Like my graver kids... Yesturday thing 2 greets me wearing... a white dress shirt and black vest. camo pants and a brown lil skirt... rainbow socks green fuzzy bunny ears. *help*

DarkVampire Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Why is it that women get the hottest looking clothes no matter what era or style? The only clothes that I think guys look good in was back in the Victorian days, now that's some fancy dressing. I'd like to get a hold of some of the clothes.
Head Wreck Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 learn to sew. that's what i did. nowadays i admittedly only redo buttons on stuff (everything comes with machine finished buttons nowadays which come loose pretty damn soon) and the odd but of logo embroidery

e-jewell Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I like Victorian, Medieval, Oriental, basically any clothing from the times where women were expected to dress as women, with dark and muted colors for that gothic edge. I can't stand the cybergoth look... or chains, or leather, fishnet, and pvc and all that jazz. Just doesn't appeal to me much. Think sophisticated vampire in style, or priestess of the night, rather than metalhead or candy kid.

Yesturday thing 2 greets me wearing... a white dress shirt and black vest. camo pants and a brown lil skirt... rainbow socks green fuzzy bunny ears. *help* What...? It's one thing to be inventive and trend-setting, it's another to look like someone who's colorblind and just fell out of their closet! Nothing against your kids and all, I'm sure they're great, just...damn. Proof-positive that anything in the fashion world is usually treading a fine-line (which for the record, I'm sure I've crossed on numerous occasions)

I HATE anything that looks old-fashioned usually, it's so modest, old school and elegant, and I'm of the firm belief that women didn't fight to get rights and things to continue being weak, poised and elegant . Also comes across to me as very plain looking, to each their own, I just always thought it to be cheesy.
StormKnight (1) Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I am surprised that no one put these two up, if we are going fictional characters. Both goth (in attitude if not in style,) and cyberpunk: Harrison Ford as Deckard: And Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty ...OK, so I like the corporate look.

Sparrow Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Chaplin isn't really goth on purpose, or even really. But he has that air de whatever. Oh yeah, and The Sandman.
prick Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I want to look like a gothic cowboy. Oh wait never mind.
