I want to know, if your pagan...or not....what you did to celebrate this fine holliday in your own way.......?

rituals.......altars.........anything.

I have been to a few of others events/rituals.....but tonight we are doing our own......this would include Day of the Dead stuff although thats still to come.......

Persoanlly want to honor my father in law......and my grandma.......and maybe even talk to them.......I mean, not in person or whatever but you know, I want to feel them and let them know how much they were appreciated.

As, the veil is thin this time of year.......

Day of the Dead stuff? Like what? I mean.. you could go with the modern spanish/catholic version and put on costumes, dance around and then go visit dead relatives at their graves. Or are you going to go with the original Aztec celebration and put wooden skulls on, place the skulls of your enemys around your house and then eat sugar replicas of them?

I'm going with the original that somehow has gotten lost in this modern world.. back to the Roman holiday of Sullani. Which means I am going to hand out candy and sweets to any traveler that knocks on my door in a celebration of my wealth and good harvest.

I would be doing the same thing, however, I would have no reason to celebrate my wealth or good harvest this year. Not only can I not afford any candy to hand out, I can barely afford shit like toothpaste.

I will do a small solitary ritual before bed. I used to have a large group to practice with, but those days are gone.

I"m not pagan, but I do always really enjoy Halloween.

I was either very brave or very stupid, but I invited my daughter's ENTIRE 5th grade class over tonight for a party at my house.

Pizza, candy, Wii, PS2 with the eye cam and ghost stories (silly ones) candles and dimmed lights. Was great fun but very very noisy. It seems the sound increases exponentially with every added child. ;)

They are all gone now and now just waiting for the last of the trick-or-treaters.

We did something with paper boats.......its documented in pics in my myspace.

Because its sorta the new year celebration for me, I made a few resolutions.

I will say it's my favorite holiday that I don't exactly celebrate. But when someone says it I generally return the greeting.

It's still based off of our calender after all.
