Homicidalheathen Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 My friend always makes this funny voice when she is telling me something her ex husband said.....its deep and slow and sounds stupid......like how she see's him.... I realize I make a funny voice when I am quoting my mom. Cause she is kinda a dingbat.
livininxtcgoth Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 For a period of time over the summer I was hanging out with and talking to rudy of 97.1 d&d quite frequently. i'm not one to generally imitate people unless they do something really funny. that said, i foud it absolutely impossible to ever relay something rudy had said without doing "the rudy voice" altho i do speak with an english accent whenever i'm watching english movies... and often when i'm reading the books too...
Nienna Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Only if I'm mocking them. And only inf they are not there. LOL
Destroit Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Psssht I used to be able to do SO many imitations. I mean, I didn't do them of people I know, but usually like movies/tv kinda stuff. Here's what I used to have down to a tee (and you can notice what a little kid I can still be just by the TV choices ) Chef - South Park (I'm dead serious, I can hit that low voice better than most men) Eric Cartman - South Park Carl - Aqua Teen Hunger Force MC Pee Pants - ATHF Ogelthorpe - ATHF Ignignoct - ATHF Towelie - South Park Mr. Hankey - South Park Mr. Mackey mmmmkay - South Park Huey/Riley - The Boondocks Uncle Rucker - Boondocks Colonel Stinkmeaner - Boondocks Dave Chappelle A Pimp Named Slickback - Boondocks Brak (not too good at it though) - Space Ghost / Brak Show Timmy (that one's easy for almost anyone) - South Park Jimmy Balmer - South Park I don't even remember, the list goes on. There was a whole lotta shows and movies stuff I used to be able to do, I just can't quite remember all of them. Everyone's favorites were usually obviously Cartman, Chef, Towelie, Carl, and Ogelthorpe. Boondocks is probably a coincidence, I think they reuse alot of the same voice actors. Actually that goes for most of the Adult Swim shows, they're usually the same voice actors from other shows. I can't imitate Meatwad or Butters for the LIFE OF ME! GAH! Psssht I probably lost practice on all the other ones too, used to be kind of a hobby of mine. I know it sounds dumb for imitations, but you do need to KEEP up practice on it or you'll start to lose that certain "voice". I used to crack my friend the HELL up with MC Pee Pants because I know the whole "I want candy" song off the top of my head, and can rap it on key.
Head Wreck Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 generally no. the welsh accent from my end of wales usually ruins anything i attempt. ask marblez, she couldnt understand me at first
GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 I tend to do an accent, not so much imitating them... its a low barking kinda voice cuz i'm usually ranting, or trying to relay something funny, so... the voice works wither way.. lol
Homicidalheathen Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 God thats funny. I wish I could see you do my mom. I mean, not literally that would be gross....I was thinking her voice lol generally no. the welsh accent from my end of wales usually ruins anything i attempt. ask marblez, she couldnt understand me at first
Burrich1 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 At work, everyone in my department makes this hilarious voice whenever we quote one of our two bosses. It kinda sounds like Patrick from Sponge Bob. We do it in front of our other boss. Come to think of it, we even do it in front of him. I guess he lives up to his nickname of 'The Big Dummy."
Der Nister Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Some people I can (and it's damn funny) and some people I can't.
CandyQuackenbush Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Mostly just boondock saints. I normaly make everyone sound pretty ghey when I mock them.
