Wow, that's a really interseting body modification. I don't think that I've seen that one before. Now, I have seen a body mod that involved piercing and replaceable buttons where they might be expected on clothing. It's certainly not bad looking.

The only problem that I have with it, really, is that it cannot be "taken off" easily. Talk about sleeping issues. Don't want one of those rings to get caught on the sheets during the middle of the night. I suppose they could be replaced with barbells or just wear a shirt to prevent late night rough-housing from inflicting injury.

I think it looks very cool. But I can't help but think of the practical aspects. Such as what Amerist referred to - safety. So easy for that sort of thing to get ripped out.

And while I haven't quite turned into my mother yet, this sort of thing just makes me think, "you're gonna love that when you're 45."

as for safety & getting them caught, i've had no problems with my arms, but they're more of a straight barbell style. doesn't seem like it'd be much of a problem, tho...

I love it. I don't think that sleeping would be too much of an issues with the ring and captive bead, because there really isn't anything to catch. I've seen someone have the same type of lace up piercing done on there back (it looked like the back lace up of a corset). It was really quite lovely.

i knew a guy who had one recently. in his back. he said it was quite painful for awhile and he couldnt lay down right. looked that way too.

The back corset type peircing is very sexy looking. That one looks nice as hell though!

i luv these type of piecings...... i think they are sexy as hell.

Lestat has been trying to get me to get my back done..... i think it is hot but i am worried so i will probally never get it done. I would worry about saftey issues as i have taken out other piecings befor because they gott in the way of *cough* rough bedroom play :whistling .................

if you are going to get it done make sure you have a good Piercer who is clean and sterile and percise if the rings are not straight it looks like crap. Also consider all of your daily activites including sex, work, cloths you love to wear etc.... if you like certian things the way they are now make sure you can live wiith out those things if the piercing get in the way.

I am interested in doing it on my forearm, since it'll be easier to keep an arm warmer or whatever on while i sleep then a tshirt (since i toss and turn like a tornado)

I would do it myself except I don't know much about body piercing.. Anything "traditional" I could do myself, but I don't know how to do anything like that.. I'd assume it would cost an ass-load of money to have that done. If money weren't a factor I'd definitely do something like that.
