The Pixies are f%$#ing amazing and just another in a line of short-lived bands like Velvet Underground and Joy Division who came out, sold relatively few albums compared to their quality and accessibility and then influenced the shit out of everyone else.

When I picked up Beyond Good and Evil a few years ago, I couldn't believe how much they still rock. And definitely give due to their gothier roots

Yes....but because it does not have Skinny Puppy, all your music lists are obsolete. Also, take H.I.M. off of there, usually I don't diss musical tastes, but that's almost as bad as someone liking Fall Out Boy / My Chemical Romance / Any Other Shitty Emo Band

I'm teasing, H.I.M. is the only one you mentioned that truely would make me hurl. Chimara and Lamb of God, while not good, are not H.I.M. so that means they aren't God awful.

Folk's not everyone's cup of tea, but IG's always original, always full of intelligent lyrics, and unlike some bands, they're not afraid to push themselves into other musical directions.

Besides, it could've been worse.
