How many at Cityclub on an average Saturday?

I'm just curious how many, if anyone knows? I'm sure it varies quite a bit, but on average how many would you say are there when the club is fairly busy (after midnight)? Also, does anyone know the legal capacity? (I've read it on the wall I believe but can not remember).

I was checking out the one-monthly Nocturna in Chicago and noticed they moved it from the Metro to the Bottom Lounge.

I thought there would be way more than 200 in attendance and was wondering how Detroit and Chicago compare. Of course this is sort of apples to oranges since Nocturna is only once a month.

I'd guess that there's over 200 on an average night (summertime, regular weekends, etc) I did a headcount of the dancefloor one saturday about 2:00 (when everyone crowds to the dancefloor with their drinks to avoid the beer nazis) and lost count around 190.

On average at The Galaxy (The original spot for StL Goth/Fetish on Monday nights), we would see MAYBE 60-70. They shut down the Galaxy and moved our gathering (minus the fetish show) to The Complex on Wed. nights, and we only saw between 45-50. Now it is at Creepy Crawl, and the max capacity of that place is only 350. I have only seen Creepy overflow one time. They shoehorned over 450 people in there for a Hatebreed show. The original fetish show is still shut down, and the crowd that used to go to Galaxy has thinned. I would say on average there, you might see 100 people on a MAXIMUM count. Those people are more the curious, and newbies that have come along. Now, supposedly there is a gathering (or was) at a place called Kastle that is pretty big. But to hear of a turnout of 190-200 people on an AVERAGE? That is actually pretty astounding.

Hold onto your socks DarkenedCharm: if you combine the "Hellbound Fetish Show" folks in the "Labyrinth" (A separate bar in the basement of the Ramada Inn, which also houses City Club) this saturday night, I believe with the milder weather, that there will be OVER 400 Gothic loving types passing through the doors of both bars this weekend (that's right, in ONE building). Shine up your vinyl my friend...it's Show time...
