Msterbeau Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 How come when I write on paper, incorrectly spelled words are not underlined in red? Jeez...
CandyQuackenbush Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Maybe the light that reflects offa your head, cause the Spell Check to think that you are All Mighty and stuff. Because nobody spell checks the All Mighty!!!
Destroit Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Because people are fairly lost without technology. Look at it this way: The red lines on the computer have been training you so that you can spell correctly on paper . Pen and paper is for when you have the difficulty set on either hard or very hard .
Brenda Starrr Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 If you really need spell check, call me. Or, consult your local dictionary.

Msterbeau Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 If you really need spell check, call me. Or, consult your local dictionary. You need to go find your sense of humor, it's missing again. Happens with old age.
Destroit Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 If you really need spell check, call me. Or, consult your local dictionary. Oh god, I'm so that person. Sometimes gets on my nerves. Top three reasons people call me, literally: To hang out To know how something is spelled As a personal OnStar over the phone service because they're lost inside of the city limits of Detroit and they're scared. That third one, happens at least twice a month.

Steven Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I have a sticky keyboard and I'm a sloppy typist. and I never spell check simply because I'm supposed to.... and that bugs. This is my revolution....

WHY do they KEEP calling and asking me the same thing? ... and then people wonder why I don't bother returning their calls. 1. I have the kids. 2. My kids are loud and I can't hear you. 3. I'm in the middle of doing 4 things at once and can't think clearly. What really gets me is the people who e-mail and ask me these things, I answer, and then they CALL because they somehow think my answer will change over the phone .... Oh, and I have a fourth: "We need to change this appointment because we overbooked." /rant (sorry, sore subject for me)
