CandyQuackenbush Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Madison Park bowl has the same special, and you get a pop! And we can call ahead and reserve. They also have a grill if we wanted some food, bowling starts earlier so we can still make it to CC. I like food. Something like this sounds good. We want that buffer time before CC. Mostly for the people *like me* who will have to change.

They seemed to be the most flexible with availability and they are very centrally located. Easy off and on the major highways needed to get to and from everyone, and get to CC afterward. I'd like to nail down a time, location and number of people soon to ensure we can secure enough lanes. I'll go back through and see if I can get a working list of confirmations but please feel free to say again yay, or nay.
odims_sphere Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Time? I'm thinking around 7PM ish... Bowl a couple hours then go to CC. If we do Berkley or thereabouts, people that need to change can do so at my place, which is nearby. working list: Odims Candy Msterbeau SuZQZ Chernobyl Raven Reaper Jadnifer, (depending on ride) DollarDave Homicidal Heathen Jadis Others sounded interested, but kinda iffy. If you'd like your name added or removed please let Marc know, or make a new post. This really needs solidified by no later than Thursday to make the proper arrangements. And Please, if you are on the list, show up. Lanes will be reserved based on the number of people who say they are going.
Msterbeau Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 OK kiddies. Sorry for the delay. Our first choices (Berkley and Ferndale) both have leagues playing at the time we want, so no go. Thunderbird in Troy on 15 Mile near Crooks has openings. $10 per lane deposit and $9 per person for two games. Or we can just show up and pray. Or if someone else has another place to try.
Msterbeau Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 Ha... didn't even notice Odims last post before I posted mine. I'm down with Fairlane or Madison Heights too.
Destroit Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 In my crew: Myself, Craven Raven (sexy cakes ), Jadnifer, Slutboy (Jad's sexy cakes), and Boshy. So if I passed first grade math, that would be five.
boshy Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Candy and Odims can you please remember to bring Chernobyl's car keys? Thanks a bunch.
SuZQZ Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I'm definitely still in for bowling, just remember, I suck at it. If my ex can't take our daughter for some bizarre reason, I'll know by Thursday night. As for where, any of those places work for me. Probably won't be heading to City afterwards though as funds are pretty tight.
Reaper Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Holy shit the bowling alleys up around there are expensive. For 2 hours I get a lane for $9. I already have shoes so that is all it costs me on a saturday night anytime after 9:30pm saturdays. Btw, I am a no-go. Going to a party in Howell.
bean Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 It's still up in the air for Eternal and I. If we go, I'm not going to bowl (I'm having serious wrist issues), so I'll be there to observe/socialize.
Jadis Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Count me out. I'll be at a family party Saturday evening and won't make it out.
Destroit Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Candy and Odims can you please remember to bring Chernobyl's car keys? Thanks a bunch. Oh yeah, thanks for remembering. I totally forgot about that
DeadBurgerKing (10) Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Is it possible to show up and NOT bowl/ Cause, I don't think I'd be very good at it, but I want to be social...
Destroit Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Is it possible to show up and NOT bowl/ Cause, I don't think I'd be very good at it, but I want to be social... We would still hug on you and squeeze your face and pet you all the same. So yes...you should show up 'cause we all <3 you.
DeadBurgerKing (10) Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 So, would this require paying? I mean, for the lane and shoes, not attention LOL I WANT to go, but not sure if I can, and secondly if I DID I wouldn't bowl...

I couldn't imagine they would make you pay for being in the bowling alley and sitting with us, I'm going to guess a no they won't care, but I'm not the event planner so don't quote me.
