Ok, I should be REALLY ashamed of myself because I didnt make this post sooner, but better late than never I guess.

This man happens to be my boyfriend and I MADE him join DGN.

greetings and salutations to all on the board. sorry for not posting sooner, but I had a lot of music related homework to take care of before hopping online. I'm currently in the middle of writing and recording demos for two albums worth of material.

I'm a 33 yrs. old male currently living in Macomb Twp. and am a native of the Detroit area.

Currently I'm the lead guitarist in two bands known as Mourning Sun and The Big Oh!.

I have a normal boring day job of which I'll spare all of you of the grotesque details for fear of boring the shit out of you nice people. I've known about the board since Reaper told me about it back when it was first known as DGN, but it was Jadnifer that urged me to become a member.

I played Guitar Hero only recently. I thought it was going to be an actual simulation of a "real" guitar just with a cheap toy guitar, maybe with just plastic strings or something. But you still had to play all the notes and chords and such but that it would be basicly a teaching tool. Was disappointed to find out it was just button mashing in the "shape" of a guitar. :no

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

      Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

      Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
