Tryp Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 So once again I lay awake in this sleepless life of mine. Oh how once I wish I could get a good night sleep without waking up tired. I hate it, minds full of shit, but yet I have no urge to write new songs. I don't know... Somethings wrong and I don't know what Any way come post in here if ya can't sleep...
freydis Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 i always have that problem...... :/ i toss and turn, sleep and wake up, sleep and wake up.....
jadnifer Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I have chronic insomnia. I actually have to take prescribed sleeping pills or I cant sleep at all. Being awake for 3 days straight and hallucinating isnt fun!
Tryp Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 I've been there. I like hallucinating though.
predaking Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I've done 6.5 days to test the 7 day theory, didnt go crazy but did pass out for 3 days with a caffine crash that would crush a jumbo jet!
jane dazzle Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I am also unable to sleep. I have sleep ....issues. I like to call them issues because it is not insomnia that i have. Once I fall asleep I can usually stay asleep, but it is the initial falling asleep that I have a problem with. I take prescription sleeping pills along with over the counter sleep aids and with those, I still do not fall asleep until 7am. It has been this way always and it sucks. So, here I am and I can't sleep. lol
Destroit Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I've done 6.5 days to test the 7 day theory, didnt go crazy but did pass out for 3 days with a caffine crash that would crush a jumbo jet! It's not true. I used to have severe insomnia in high school, I stayed up for 8 days and I'm not crazy what-so-ever I cured it with weed, which made me pass out whether I wanted to or not and cleared my head enough so that the mental mosh-pit would quiet down enough for me to get to sleep. Now I need neither, I guess I grew out of the insomnia. At that age it was probably most hormonal or something like that. I am so un-crazy
Rayne Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I have majour sleep issues too. They went away for a month or so, but now it appears they are back.
Tryp Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 I'm gone to downers to make me go to sleep at night now...eh..
Destroit Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I'm gone to downers to make me go to sleep at night now...eh.. Yeap, that's what I used to do. I'm allergic to actual sleep meds, so I'd take herbal downers . Never like, actual barbituates in pill form or anything, just a few hits off a bowl used to suffice for me. But, I'm grown-up now and broke away from the drug thing. At least to fall asleep anyway.
Tryp Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 See I use opiates. But I dont use to get high....odd.
Homicidalheathen Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 God its bad again.......tempted to go the drug route. I will be so sleepy today I will fall asleep in the meeting and I wont be able to drive far.......insomnia=narcaleptic attacks. I dont want sleeping pills at night and speed in the day. Sick of it. Don't know what to do.
jadnifer Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I've done 6.5 days to test the 7 day theory, didnt go crazy but did pass out for 3 days with a caffine crash that would crush a jumbo jet! Are you supposed to go crazy after 7 days????
Tryp Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Well I have started to delevolpe HEALTHY sleep patterns since gettin back from Rehab. Tongihts once of the fews sleepless nights I've had.
GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I'm in that awful sleep cycle where I stay up till 8-9 am, then sleep till 6 pm... then it starts all over... and originally i was going to bed at like 2-3, maybe 4 am, and waking up at like 12-1, maybe 2 pm... ugh... now I have to stay up to the point of exhaustion, then I end up crashing for 18 hours, sometimes... this blows... and in case you didn't know, its why I am up, now.
eleven Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Recently i have been sleeping the days away aswell....however to me sleepin all day is like sleeping 4 hours... its cool not to sleep right?! lmao not at all
Msterbeau Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Recently i have been sleeping the days away aswell....however to me sleepin all day is like sleeping 4 hours... its cool not to sleep right?! lmao not at all Sleep is for the dead. However... I think a lot more clearly with 6 hours a night...
GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Sleep is for the dead. ^--- yeah... i just wanna crash, but my resltless leg is telling me otherwise.... *rolls eyes*
StormKnight (1) Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I can deal OK with 4 hours a night chronically, with 6 hours being the maximum I can sleep before my body either forces me up, or I start feeling terrible (oversleep.) Insomnia is something I also deal with. Taking a sedative is not a good idea for me because I already have problems with REM sleep latency (sedatives increases the latency...less dreaming=less functionality...not a good thing.) I end up either cleaning the place up, or use self-hypnosis tapes. Got a couple that I use for occasional meditation.
freydis Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I could not stay asleep last night..... and i had to be up for work this morning at 4:30. It SUCKED.
