honeymustard02 Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I think I have one. But I don't want to rush to the doc's just yet. Has anyone used the AZO stuff?
Ginevra Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I haven't used AZO so I'm not sure what that is. Other than actually going to the doctor and confirming, you could take some cranberry tablets/capsules or else drink cranberry juice to help it out. If you opt for juice rather than the tablets, be careful not to drink too much in one day as that could be just as bad. The tablets are usually easier to deal with.
TearSandrille Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I haven't used AZO, but I have used Uristat to relieve the pain while waiting to get to the doctors. The main thing is that it's temperary relief, and won't cure the problem. Also, I know that Walgreens or other drugs stores have a UTI test, so you can tell at home if you have one.

I've ended up in the ER cause I had no symptoms and then all of sudden I'm on floor in pain and lets just say when I went to the bathroom it looked like someone poured cherry kool-aid in it... it had spread to my kidneys.... so just be careful drink tons of water!!!!

If I get even a glimmer of a thought that I have one I'm in the doc's. It spreads to my kidneys pretty fast if I do.
