Not sure why. For whatever reason girls just don't seem interested in such things enough to get "good" at them. There are always exceptions (obviously), but its true in general. Not that they don't have the ability to get good at them, just often women/girls dont seem to have the interest or competitive motivation that it takes. They might have some minor passing interest, but not enough to "stick with it" and get good.

I read an article once that said its partly cultural , and that younger women tend to like Science/Video Games/Compeitive Stuff (almost) as much as boys, but once they get to a ceritan age , their peers (other girls) teach them that its not lady-like and they drift away from them as they "mature".

There are SOME girls that are good at such games. I wish there were more. Rock on.

You sir are correct. It's society's fault that women have no drive toward anything. Wanna know why I'm massively competitive and could pistol snipe any one of you in Halo from all the way across the map?

I have nearly no friends that are girls, which is amazing because I get to do fun stuff. I stopped hanging out with women when I caught onto the fact that not only do they not participate in actual activities or hobbies (none that are cool anyway like fighting for no good reason other than to be manly, paintball, or video games) but they have ONLY four things to talk about:

A) Their boyfriends and how awesome they are when really they suck and are totally plain.

B) Babies and how much they want them OR they talk about kids they already have, which is usually worse. I really don't care if your baby can say "mama" because everyone else's kid around that age can too . I'd rather get my teeth drilled than talk about kids.

C) Complaining about shit that can be either in their control or not. Usually that first one is the case too, sadly, you know complaining about things they actually can change (i.e. weight, their boyfriend, their job, etc)

D) Drama that doesn't really exist (i.e. they created to complain about it and then pull the "poor me, love me, give me attention!" card)

I do have a few friends who are girls that I like, which is odd because around chicks I really don't know what to say for the most part or what to talk about, but I'm getting used to the idea. So basically if you're a chick and I'm your friend, that means you're doing something right

To men, this is foreign, how many times have you seen a guy run away crying after being like "you asshole!" or something like that? One thing I do like about girls is that it's an instant ego boost. Doesn't matter what you're wearing to them it's "cute", doesn't matter what you say because to them it's "funny", etc. Until of course you generally 9 times out of 10 find out that she was just being a fakey fake and is now talking shit behind your back.

I will also say this: I've noticed about 80-90% of the women I can stand or actually enjoy the company of are either goth chicks or gay chicks. Isn't that odd

I am a little rusty, haven't much played in like a year and a half. I used to play it with my boys, but they've moved onto Gaytar Hero.

I rag on them for it all the time too , especially because there's not really shit that's challenging about Rockband or GH, since you can do the whole thing sitting in a chair and there's not much strategy involved.

The only pre-requisite to getting up to heavy mode (or whatever it isn in GH, in DDR it's "heavy" mode, but in DDR it takes a few years to get there) is that you passed 6th grade band.

They got mad too when I showed them up and got to Standard (once again, probably "medium" or something in Guitar Hero, in DDR it's called Standard) in THREE songs. Yes...three, never once played before, third song and I was showing them up. Not only that but I hit all of the notes with over 90% accuracy every time.

*siiiigh*...I miss Halo. But hey, I do have MK: Armageddon. Who needs first person shooters when you have brutal and unnecessarily violent fighting games?
