<span style='font-size:13pt;line-height:100%'>We discovered to our horror that there's no such thing as a cider mill down here. We've tried everything we can find in stores, but pasteurization makes it all suck.

There's an outfit making real cider at the State Fair, but it ONLY operates during the fair. So it was here for 2 weeks, and we took advantage - at $8.00 a gallon.

Our only alternative is Cracker Barrel sells cider by the glass, and it's VERY good. $2.00 a glass, and we asked - they can sell us a container for $8.00, but I don't think it's even a gallon.

Count your blessings, Michiganders. </span>
