Also, sorry for your plight. I think it's generally a bad idea to live with the opposite sex (ya know, as "just friends"), but, oddly, nobody ever asks me my opinion about such matters.

Yes, but having them there 24/7 can be terribly suffocating. Until you've been with them long enough for personalities to properly mesh, having him/her around that much will only snuff out the flame.

I have found few people I can be around all the time and not get sick of them if even just a little....problem is most of the time, people like that move away or die or something.

I live with a male roomate. He's an ideal person to be with (makes good money, attractive, nice person in general, gets along with my friends, has a dog [can take care of a living thing] and my parents like him) but I see him as a brother. We're totally platonic.

I'd be watching myself if I were you. Have you ever seen People's Court of Judge Judy? Tenant falls in love with live-in landlord. They sleep together, etc. Then alluva the sudden things don't work out and it gets ugly from there. They sue each other, randome evictions--- Just a HUGE mess.
