ttogreh Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Oh, yeah. A railway worker in England had a similar thing happen to him in the 1800s. Or was it the early 1900s? Any ways, he survived, but he suffered personality changes due to losing certain parts of his neocortex. I suspect a similar thing will happen with this person, but at least we know more about the brain than we did back then, and can help.
predaking Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 I think you are talking about the guy with the TNT and the rebar he was using to pack it, it detonated and sent the rod stright up and out of his skull through his lower jaw. if thats the same thing it happened some where between the 20s and 70s (really broad range i know but i cant remember exactly) both must have hurt like hell.
Homicidalheathen Posted February 9, 2008 Author Posted February 9, 2008 ....and here I was thinking....the Rotisserie is ready, get the BBQ Sauce! No but seriously....HURT probably doesn't even come close to the amount of pain these people must have felt.
jadnifer Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I cant even begin to imagine the pain that he was in or how scared he must have been wondering if he was going to live or die.
