I think it's high time Troy had the latest and greatest. Screw this IP Board old ass janky shit. This dude has done a lot, and we really should give something back. Who wants to help me do this? For free? I'm doing it for free. Anyone with me? I already have most of what I need done laid out. Let me know what your skills are on here if you want to help.

P.S. I'm a pot smoker.

I think that that whole web site thing is a good idea.... I, unfortunately have VERY limited skills... i can find what I need to change the color and styles of fonts, but that's about it... lol

Primarily a faster and cleaner flash interface that is indexable by google via php through mysql and amfphp.

This can all be accomplished fairly easily, and the entire mysql (database users, passwords, info, posts, image content, etc) can be backed up. Nothing will be lost.

I'd probably use a lot of the same image content for the site itself unless someone else was willing to design a new logo, etc.

I just want to make this site like 1,000,000,000X better than myspace and make it all ours.

Myspace sucks. How many people do you actively talk to on your list more than you talk on here?

Communities is where it's at. This is our community, and as such shouldn't we have the latest and greatest?

Shouldn't we be willing to donate our time for Troy?

I imagine Troy is busy at the moment as am I. If anyone else including Troy have any suggestions that would be ideal. Please keep them semi realistic. I'm not a miracle worker. That was someone else's job.

Personally, one other suggestion I have is both standard and music profiles as well as artist and author profiles.

I'd like to make this site geared for people of specific professions. This is not to say that I want to exclude anyone, but rather that I'd like to include everyone in a more meaningful way.

Networking your talents and abilities with other people of similar interests and drives.

We're a small community with enough brain power to rival any other group of people on this planet in our numbers.

That being said, I think we deserve a place where we can all have a REAL PERSONAL experience rather than a generic myspace experience. I'd like to share my music with people I really care about.

And guess what suckas? You're about the only people I care about at the moment in this area. I know that's pretty pathetic, but in my many years of going to city club, I've never met a better "GROUP" of people.

We live in a time when we are so segregated by the government that it's hard to use our talents collectively without being overly ambitious. This creates a lot of frustration for artists who want to make a difference.

People everywhere are under appreciated for what they do. Artists and otherwise.

Why not drop our religious and cultural differences to do something amazing? I don't know. I just want to get something started here.

My only hidden agenda is that I want to make the world a better place. If that's not agreeable then I'd have little choice but to do so elsewhere.

I just think that both Troy and you guys deserve this (if for no better reason than putting up with my mouth and resentments about life on this board)

True Story, and the reason why I agree:

my b/f went to therapy, when he was younger, and then he started spoking pot... she told him that she noticed a positive change in him, and wanted to know what he was doing different... after making sure that she couldn't tell, he told her that he had started smoking the pot.. she told him that legally she couldn't tell him to do it, but she suggested that it was obviously working for him... Oh man, you don't want to be around him, when he hasn't had any..... I think that I am the only one who can deal with his grumpy ass, when he hasn't smoked pot!...lmao....

I'll compromise and take a much needed 2 week vacation after my current website is done

And then I'll smoke in a stress/anger free environment.

No reason to worry about me really. Things kinda suck at the moment, but I'll be alright.

I'm sane enough to know I'm insane. Pissed enough to know I don't want to stop, and encouraged enough to vent some of that pissiness in more creative ways....
