I saw this and immediately knew, it's not going to work. No way in Hell.

I thought this was a hoax but here is a link in German where it can be purchased.

Cheeseburger In A Can

this... in a sense... is probably the same in principal as the MRE cheese burger menu item... it's absolute shit... if you don't vomit from it, it's going to make you give birth to a brick out your asshole (hence where "shitting bricks" came from) I have a feeling though, that it may taste better than the mre. While I'm in germany I'll keep my eye out for this and try it out, and tell you in every graphic detail possible as to how it tasted.

I don't know that there is any real difference except you don't get lettuce or pickles on anything at a convenience store. None I have been to anyway. Possibly and more than likely that is just a "serving suggestion" photo. I would think there is just meat, cheese and bread in that can?

I'd really love to hear about your experience with the cheeseburger in a can when you try one.

the worst MRE i was given was grilled chicken with potatoes and gravy, but tbh none of ther menus aside from the vege ones were any good. and the space the MRE's took up was silly.

the chicken was tasteless with fake grill marks burnt on by a polymer banding machine, the gravy was tastless brown jelly, no matter how hot or how you stirred. and i didn't find any potatoes but there were these orange half moon things that looked like orange toenail clippings.

keep the heater (a very well thought out item tbh, i scavenge them where i can), throw the rest, get a british 24 hr pack, same size but lasts all day and only one item is tinned (as apposed fo the French and Irish where every sodding thing is tinned and costs a lot in weight and space on your belt kit)

As part of my orientation at work we had to eat an MRE. The one I was dealt was a peppers and onion omelet. That was one of the nastiest things I've ever tasted. Other folks had different things, some of which they said weren't bad. That omelet was disgusting.

Meal Ready To Eat.

A bag of precooked food that the military uses.

Generally taste about as good as you would expect food that's been juiced up with preservatives and has been sitting around for a couple of years.

I don't think that I could ever bring myself to voluntarily put that in my mouth
