Penelope

I went to see Penelope last night at the theater. In the film, Christina Ricci plays Penelope, the daughter of 2 rich socialites who has a curse on her head to have the face of a pig until "one of her own kind" loves her. Hilarity ensues as the parents try to play matchmaker with other blueblood families to pair off their daughter and break the curse. (The nose is actually rather cute) I loved this movie. It was just a very cute, feel good film and I was very glad I went! Go see it!

I agree. I saw it on opening night, and I'm lucky if I go see 5 films at the theatre a year. Awesome "off" feel good movie. The only complaint (not really) I have is that Christina Ricci, even with a pig nose, is still entirely too cute to play a hideous monster no guy her age can handle seeing for the first time. Go see it.
