Bruce Campbell was having a showing of his new movie "My Name is Bruce" at MSU yesterday. Hilarious movie; if you've seen a lot of Bruce Campbell's stuff, you'll appreciate all the in-jokes in the movie. He had a Q&A session afterwards, and then us lucky ones got an invite to the afterparty (I know Bruce's brother Don, so that was our key to getting in).

Got to talk to Bruce a little bit, seemed like a genuinely nice guy and is just as goofy in real life as he is on screen. He made a point to come over and thank us for our service, which I thought was cool.

All in all, it was a good time! :)

You lucky bastard.

I read his autobiography. His whole group sounds like a fun bunch to hang out with.

I wish he'd get more movie roles. He's way more talented than he gets credit for.

I had dinner with him about 5 years ago!!! (not just me and him, there were others there) It was fun....

Yeah I hear a lot of good things about Bruce. :) Cool that you got to meet him, and that he turned out not to be a jackass. I met Dennis Rodman once, he was pretty cool as well. He was like, I'm not allowed to sign autographs (I didn't ask him for one, I rarely get bold over by famous people) but I'll shake your hand. I was cool with that.

:) He owns a Chrysler Dodge Dealership somewhere on Telegraph.. *shrugs*

I was going to say the same thing.

I think Bubba Ho-Tep was a cool flick even though it was outright strange. Had its good moments too.

I loved Bubba HoTep... I'm just sayin'. I don't think that movie gets enough respect for its humor and enormous creativity. Army of Darkness is better known and that was a piece of shit.

He seems like he would be a cool guy to hang out with. He's an alpha male idol sort of like a George Clooney for dorky men who live in basements. I'd have a beer with him anyways.

That is way cool! I would be so proud to say that I met Bruce Campbell! I feel the same about Army of Darkness. He was the best in Evil Dead 2 imo.
