Nienna Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 My hair is naturally wavy and now that it's longer again I've started to let it go natural instead of straightening it. Trouble is, almost everything I put in it weighs it down too much and the waves get weird so it just looks janky. If I use nothing, it looks frizzy. LOL SO.. I need advise on what to use that will enhance the waves, tame the frizzies, and wont make my hair feel stiff, sticky, or otherwise un-natural. Price is no object if it works. I've tried, and didn't like: Sunsilk De-Frizz Christoff Waves & Curls Cream Christoff Waves & Curls Serum Herbal Essences Curling Gel HELP!!!
Miranda Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I cannot tell you how wonderful Kerastase is as a line. This product is great for unruly hair and any type of frizz you may have. You wash your hair, then condition with this masque, it's a rinse out. Kerastase Masque Oleo Curl
Guest Megalicious Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Aveda Be Curly Curl/wave Enhancer. It worked wonders for me when my hair was longer and I wanted to leave it curly/wavy. Also, Try tresemme No frizz, it's ultra light, at first I didn't like it because it left my hair feeling oily. But after about 10 mins it soaks in and leaves my hair feeling pretty natural and alot more tame then other products. It can also be used to flat iron, so if you ever feel like going back to straight hair one day you can do both with one product. Good luck.
Fierce Critter Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 When I was still getting spiral perms, my frizz was abhorable. Frizz Ease worked the best. Knock-offs didn't come close. But how you apply it is crucial. Too much and you look like greasehead. Too little and it won't work. Get some and experiment. For me, a dime-sized dollop was best. I'd put it in my palm, then rub my palms together and spread it around. With towel-damp hair, I would bend over forward, and then run my hands through it until most of it came off my palms. Sometimes, I found an accumulation over a period of days actually made it look better and better. Good luck!
Kit Kat P Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Let us know what works best cause I'm curious. I also have used Garnier products, they seem to work well and smell nice.
