Brenda Starrr Posted April 24, 2005 Author Posted April 24, 2005 I just cannot do it Brenda...too easy...LOL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Again, bring it!
Lilith Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 i just thought i would help you guys out with some quotes from the site since i see you are having problems meeting brendas challenge! "The creamiest moisturizer on the planet!!" "It's like you've died and gone to heaven." "Body butter with the delicate scent of sweet pea...what could be better?" "....this moisturizer has us "oohing" and "ahhing" every time we use it." 6 of our most popular small bath bombs in an adorable pail with our logo on it! ( bath bombs lol omg i instanly thought of my kids tooting in the tub) :whistling lilith
Brenda Starrr Posted April 24, 2005 Author Posted April 24, 2005 lol.... Thanks lillith! It amazes me what men think when they see the words "Body Butter". No, I am not bread, therefore, you cannot "spread" it on and eat me.
soothsayer Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Thinks about body butter.................Hmmmmmmm. :whistling
Troy Spiral (13) Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Since i have dry skin , and know sort of "automatically" what body butter is it didn't occur to me to innuendo-ize the name. But thinking about it , im coming up with something yucky as hell not something "sexy" ugh... >tries not to have nightmares about rolls and goo I have never actually tried this product but i probably would have if i ever saw it in a regular store. I assume they don't sell it at like Meijer or Save-Mor drugs, do they? Cant bring myself to go to a "specialty" beauty supply store and spend money, first they'd take my heterosexual male membership card away, then bend me over and rape me with the 75% markup prices. hehe :fear
honeymustard02 Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I love this stuff, I have mango butter. They also have one called Nut Butter.......that's even worse!!

You won't lost your heterosexual male card, I swear. And yes, Nut Butter just sounds so wrong....
gothicmom Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 ( bath bombs lol omg i instanly thought of my kids tooting in the tub) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was thinking of poo in the bathtub!
Rozzlyn Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Body Butter <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As a sufferer(?) of psoraisis, I've got two words for you: That's Crap.
Brenda Starrr Posted April 25, 2005 Author Posted April 25, 2005 My daughter has seriously bad eczema. It's the only thing that makes her feel better. It may not work for you, but it works for her. That's all that matters to me.
Nightflyerswmn Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 my 2 year old has got really dry skin too. i'll have try some. that prescription crap is just that--CRAP
squee Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 have you ever used udder cream? it works really well too.
Rozzlyn Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 My daughter has seriously bad eczema. It's the only thing that makes her feel better. It may not work for you, but it works for her. That's all that matters to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, what matters to everybody else in the world with "dry skin" is the fact that no two cases of "dry skin" are exactly alike.
Rozzlyn Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 have you ever used udder cream? it works really well too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like hell it does!
Brenda Starrr Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 Ok, Rozzlyn..... What do you think works well? Share, please.
Troy Spiral (13) Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I think every time i ever asked a reasonably detailed question in the dermatologists office his response included "everyone's skin is so different and the causes are so wide ranging..." Pretty hard to make a blanket statement about what does, and doesn't work. Saying that one product "doesnt work" seems pretty difficult. "Didnt work for me" or "Didnt work for my friend..." would seem more acurate. Im sure Windex cures dry skin for somone , somewhere. hah
bellbottoms Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 :laughing yes windex is working for me right now i like body butter as well...never tried the udder cream. the directons that i have heard from a dermatologists is that u should use different lotions everyday. like eucrin one day and the next day use nivea. BUT it hasn't worked for my niece - it helps but she uses a steriod cream with it as well. she isn't even 2 yet and has all the bumps and patches that my sister and i have.
Troy Spiral (13) Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 :laughing yes windex is working for me right now
Rozzlyn Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Ok, Rozzlyn..... What do you think works well? Share, please. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have yet to find anything that works well.
Rozzlyn Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Pretty hard to make a blanket statement about what does, and doesn't work. Saying that one product "doesnt work" seems pretty difficult. "Didnt work for me" or "Didnt work for my friend..." would seem more acurate. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's also rather ludicous to make blanket statements or at least implications that any one product 100% works, no fail. The psoraisis on the back of my head is so bad that even a slight change in the climate causes it to crack and bleed. I'm better off in summer than I am in winter, but not even medicated shampoos do anything worthwhile. At one point, I even tried adjusting my diet. Nothing. Then there's my roommate -- he has these weird patches of dry skin on his knuckles and the only thing that "works" for *him* is straight-up Vaseline. Me? Udder cream: crap Zim's Crack Cream: crap medicated shampoos (OTC): crap "all natural" shampoos: crap, but slightly less crappy than other crap medicated non-shampoo scalp treatmens (OTC): crap prescription medicated shampoos: crap prescription medicated scalp-treatments: crap prescription oral medication: crap, but slightly-more-than-slightly less crappy than other crap; also really expensive BlueStar ointment: crap Gold Bond crap: crap All sorts of various butters and creams and balms: crap crap and crappy Keeping my hair short has helped the itch a little, but a *little*. Shaving my head, though, just causes it to *spread*. My father had the same deal -- I'm starting to develop it on my knees, too. On the good side, I don't look at it as gaining more psoraisis patches, but instead getting rid of another place to shave.
