Ravenwind Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Well, I have to say that I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the wonderful greetings. Currently I live in Lansing, MI, born & raised Female MSU Associates 2 wonderful girls Never married...love it o...wow...hobbies...let me just warn you, I have an old soul, I crochet, knit, cross stitch & bead, taught myself most of it I found DGN from some very wonderful people at City Club I currently don't have much of a social life, I'm quite wrapped up in my children, mostly my oldest because she is getting ready to graduate HS so I have been busy making all sorts of plans for that. I'm a very proud mother. There is a bit of that wonderful dark side to me, but I'm still trying to find myself...been raising kids since I was 16, didn't have alot of time to get to know ME, but that is quite alright by me, most of the time I really enjoy being a parent. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you & making some great new friends. Ravenwind

Ravenwind Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 You will find that there are many DGN parental types with kids of all ages. We like to share ideas and info... :-) That's awesome. Mine are almost grown, so I may have some advice although I believe my parenting is a bit unconventional, some people don't agree with it, but so far my kids have turned out way better than what I was at their ages
Ravenwind Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 ...I am picturing a big black bird with gas.......Welcome Raven Wind! Ok, that wasn't quite the thought I was trying to bring to mind...lol...my idea was more mysterious (raven) and yet soft and gentle, if not sexy (wind)...lol
