2 Poems...

[Rev.Reverence]

Petals and Thorns

Beautifully glowing; with perfectly curved petals,

Open for me;

The fragrance wafts through my beastly olfactory glands;

Exciting some part of my brain that I cannot think of in this emotional flutter (let alone pronounce)....

Petals so soft; and delicate,

Their sweet perfume;

Lingers... as wine or narcotics will do;

And, as I dive into thee wondrous flower; its sap washes over me....

And as the petals open,

one by one,

then two by two...

As I begin to strike,

my meter,

anew...

I swim deeper into the Divine Blossom;

Sweet sweat begins,

to trickle down my skin...

Then it mixes with the juices;

that are flowing from within...

Foaming...

...forming; the nectar..

...of the GODS......

As that moment progresses to movement...

So I slam through,

and into...

This bud of delight;

In one moment,

that was one movement;

That took the whole damn night!

...

The scrapes, and holes, and cuts,

I found in the noon sun;

and realized the pain,

as my eyes snapped back shut;

my mind drifting,

sereene,

into dream,

where It has stayed till this day..........................................................(then I slam my notebook shut)

The veil She wears is black...

The cloth they used is bright...

Pricked upon this veil ov black,

are tiny holes so tight,

that let the shiny cloth show,

the beauty that is Light...

****AND EVER SINCE

****FIRST MAN SAW 'IT'

****HIM WANTED 'IT FOR HIM OWN

****EVEN OWNING FIRE AND BEER

****DID NOT A THING

No, it did not do a thing for Him.

Although He cannot see her face,

She is his greatest delight;

To this day,

and everyday,

still He's drawn,

to lay beneath,

the beauty ov the Night...
