This Monday Jon Pohl will be spinning a tremendous set at the Necto. I have been looking forward to having him come down for a long time now. Jon's sets at CC on Friday's are always fresh and exciting. This is a rare oppertunity to hear on of Detroit's better dj's on a premium sound system. Come on out or clowns will eat your parents.

I DO wana go, just reality is stopping me , per usual. Health wise it seemed like i was progressively getting better for awhile there, stuck in sort of in a hold pattern the last month or so now =(. But its better than getting worse , by a long shot. Coordinating the trip to CC last Saturday was almost a failure. Don't have the energy to do the same thing twice a week, at least not yet. Not that anyone nowadays wants to see me creeping around the nec anymore. hah. =)

Far cry from the days when i could just shoeleather express it there and then stumble back home as necessary.

Hope you guys have fun. Don't do anything i wouldn't do.

The Necto was fun, as usual. I saw Jarod, LuluVox (and friend), Rozzlyn, and Marblez. I danced a lot and drove home exhausted. Um, there was lots of eye candy too--of both the male and female varieties (yum!) :blushing .

Speaking of the Necto, what do people think about the new Red Room? I have somewhat mixed feelings about it.

I liked the Red Room being open and would've hung out there more, but I sort of floated back upstairs and never made it back down.

Did things pick up down there? I hope it stays full enough to remain open.

The Red Room is a nice addition to the Necto. It's a lax place to just chill out and talk to people (you can actually hear conversations over the music). However, my only gripe is that it smells dank since it's in the basement :erm .

Why the mixed feelings?

The Red Room is downstairs. Entrance is at the end of the hall past the bathrooms.
