actually i was dating a guy who was 14 and a half years older then me. Everything was going great and then he decided to ignore me. He simply stopped calling for no reason. He used me I guess to buil up his ego. Hes the one i met online. Hes a jerk. He lied to me about a lot of things to get what he wanted from me.

There was a thread to fix peoples up.

..FAIL...

..there has been many meet-ups/parties...every time that there is the mention of such an event (specifically thrown as a singles event) some one sais somethin' along the lines of, "That's kinda' a lame idea....those things never work out...", & everyone else drops the idea out of lemurness.

...maybe, if some of us couples get it together, we could throw a DGN Catilion{sp?}? With all the couples as chaperons(/cupids)

...we'ld need a planning committee...but, I ain't on it...I had the idea.

Thanks to this thread... I don't think there are any mysteries about who is single and who isn't. I don't see a singles event doing any more than a night at City Club, except that maybe an alternate time/place will allow some people to meet up that might not otherwise. Personally I think it should be something quieter and away from a bar/club atmosphere. Then again.. I'm not coming either way. I'll do my own thing thankyouverymuch. :-)
