Yes, absente is like absinthe without the wormwood. But, it tastes just as bad as the real thing :confused . If you're going to drink something that tastes like green fire, it might as well be euphoric in nature. Just my opinion... I hope things go well at Mephisto's for the newly-themed night though.

For those of you who have recently asked if the party is still going to happen--YES. But, unfortunately, I don't think Ralph Nader or Michael Moore will be in attendence. But, um, Daevion and Nerdcore will be there among others, so that's almost as good. I'm not going to post my phone number or directions to my apartment online because I'm afraid of those weird stalker-kinda folks out there or people who like to crash green fairy parties. So, PM me, and I'll give you the scoop. Again, it's Sunday, May 29, probably around 8 PM until whenever. I will provide most booze and food. Don't ever say that I'm not generous. But, you can bring stuff too if you want. I'd offer to have a pig roast on my balcony, but I don't know if it would go over well with my neighbors, and I don't eat meat anyway...

Don't get it in Canada - its not the real shit - get it online from Sweden or Switzerland I believe. We've tried to buy it before.
