LadyWindstone Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 My mother found a *GASP* Gray HAIR!!! ON MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. *goes off to dye hair quickly*
Fierce Critter Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Don't feel bad. Some of us get them very early. Jon has 5 on his temples I pluck out for him regularly. We first noticed them when he was about 22 years old.
DarkenedCharm Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Wait till you start finding them in your pubes. THEN you will feel old! :doh
Nienna Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 My mother found a *GASP* Gray HAIR!!! ON MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. *goes off to dye hair quickly* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *L* I've been showing greys since I was 17.... No sweat now...
honeymustard02 Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 I was around 19 when I found mine. I still have them. I just dye my hair so much that they can't keep up.
JaneDead Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 i have been getting white hairs since i was a teen. you only found one? hehehe i have about 51. one day i got a bunch then i forgot about them and then i looked again and i was like wow!! i have patches now it seems. i like them except for the fact that they stick straight up and look silly when they first come in. i think my grandma was a good percentage of white by the time she was 25. when i married my husband he didn't have any. now he has them ALL over his head. me and the kids have aged him.
TomCat Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Join the club, I have a few gray obnoxious buggers in my goatee....arrgghhhh
gothicmom Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I don't have a clue if I have greys or not. I 've been dying my hair for the last 7 years.
LadyWindstone Posted April 29, 2005 Author Posted April 29, 2005 I have dyed my hair so no gray hair. HA. Gotcha you little buggers. I actually had a lot more then one. Gods, for some reason when my mother said i had gray hair, i suddenly felt old. LOL.
Fierce Critter Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 My family ages incredibly well & slowly. My sisters and I all are often mistaken for at least 10 years younger than we really are. And my 79 and 78 year old parents have full heads of hair that still haven't gone completely white or grey. I'm the odd blonde (besides the sister who isn't talking to me), which doesn't show greys as easily as brunettes, and I can't see the top of my own head, so I have no idea if I have any greys yet. Anyway, I think dark dark hair with streaks of grey or white is uber-goth. :grin
Marblez Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Join the club, I have a few gray obnoxious buggers in my goatee....arrgghhhh <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ew ew eew ew ew ew.....get em out get em out! OH, "buggers" not boog...
Brenda Starrr Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I have very minor gray. I color it to hide them. If my hair were to turn all white tomorrow, that would be really cool, and I wouldn't color it anymore. However, that's not in my genetics. My whole family gets this ugly gray. The kind that looks like you "painted" strands of hair. Ew.
bellbottoms Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 i have not ever seen any grey hairs on my head. i have dyed my hair for the last 11 years - even if i go back to my natural hair color its dyed
pomba gira Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 I'm proud ov my gray hairs... hell, I earned 'em. I was actually kind'a excited when I found the first ones. The woman who washes my hair is trying to talk me into covering up the gray... I told her Don't you dare! Only thing that bothers me is they stick out kinda funny, so I always think there's a stray cat hair tangled in a 'lock...
