Chasing The Phantom

Have you ever wanted something so bad you would do anything? Have you ever dreamed of someone so much that the moment you see them your heart will sing? You follow the person into a strange realm. Your head is spinning and you are overwhelm. Would you truely trust your own heart again after being hurt from people you know? What if this person was everything you dreamed for in someone and you thought it could come true and never go?

In a world full of ghosts we look for someone we can't walk through. We hope so much that they will solidly stand in our way to. We want them to take us because we have noticed them. We want to make all of their dreams come true limb by limb. To feel their very soul running through our flesh. To feel the warmth of love when our bodies mesh.

You find out the truth they never really will care. You had a chance to be in their world but you were to late when you got there. You've created a perspective so big of someone that you could marry. Then when the moment came to meet someone similiar you slept from being tired and weary. A gust of wind comes along blowing away your outlook on love. You realize that drops of rain fall from above.

When ever it rains on days like these you drown in sorrow. You find it harder keeping an open mind for tomorrow. You can know what you want in a lover. But you don't want the love from another. The one you are willing to make sacrifices for doesn't even know you are there. You would do everything to just to be loved and show that you care.

You can search through old castles for an idea of the past. But when you find yourself where you began it wasn't mean to last. Never let someone remind you of when you used to be happy. You tend to get your hopes up feeling overly sappy. Then when there is a moment between you and the one. They don't respond and you know all hope is done.

When chasing a phantom remember not to follow to close. You will find out what you miss the most. You can trust your sight that the beauty is real. You can even tell them how you feel. But unfortunately you grab through thin air and waste your time speaking. A phantom is trapped in its own world and you are just peaking.
