Soulrev Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 So yeah I probably shouldn't be doing it but I'm going to be spending 700 bucks on new tattoos next week.. I go in tuesday for the first one and then I think he's gunna have me come back on Thursday for the next one.. Will definitely post pics. These ones are kind-of going to be a dedication to my parents.. Identical designs on the underside of each forearm, but different colors.. I designed and drew them myself. Basically they'll look like this - an upside down 5 point star in the middle with spider webs extending down towards my wrist where there will be a banner with my parents' initials, and blue flames extending from the main star up toward and into my inner elbow.. Right arm will be a black and blue star with the initials MRW on the banner.. Left arm same design just purple and black star with the initials CLW on the banner. My dad on my right arm because he is my strength and my mother on my left arm because she is my heart.. All my tattoos over time will have deep meaning to me. The two I have (identical ankhs on top of each wrist) represent my curse - I can't die because it's something I want (read my blog on myspace to understand what I mean by "want").. But yeah I'll have Chris (my tattoo artist) take pics of them at the shop so I can post 'em up here right away.. I can't wait.. I love getting tattoos. I really enjoy the pain.
TomCat Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Sounds very cool amigo. I look forward to seeing them. Stock up on A & D ointment and use it liberally!!

revoltedhorror Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Hehe, I can't wait for mine, either!!!! Going between my shoulder blades...going to be a small crying girl or something. I'm helping with the design. I wish you luck, and I hope to see them...and I can't wait to feel the pain, as well.
Soulrev Posted May 4, 2005 Author Posted May 4, 2005 so yeah I got the one on my right arm done today.. Took about 2 1/2 hours.. Looks amazing.. Will have to post pics very soon
Brenda Starrr Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 I need to get my butterfly bracelet colored in. The outline alone is really great, but once it's colored it's going to be hot. Now post some friggin' pics, Brian!
soothsayer Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 You must start making friends with tattoo artists that way you can save $$$$$$$$$$. I'm telling you, it's the only way to go. My first tat cost me $50 and it would have costed me $200 if I hadn't let a friend do it. It looks great and I save an arm and a leg. I won't do it any other way. It's friends or nothing for me.
