where do you get your shoes/boots?

I was having such a crappy day until I got home and saw that the shoes I won off ebay arrived!! (I would post a pic of them but im not sure how....)

I use ebay, how about everyone else?

Absolutely. Found the perfect pointy-toe kitten heel boots for my more dressy goth outfits. And the 20-eye red patent Docs I paid too much for off a website I could have gotten off Ebay for almost half the price if I'd have known they were for sale.

Besides eBay, my best pair are these calf-high black patent combat-style boots that look a lot like docs. They're actually Italian-made imports I got from Hudsons around 1994. They cost a mint, but 11 years later and they still look great.

I have a few pairs I picked up from Salvation Army stores, and a pair of platform ankle-hi's I got from some discount store for $2.00 on clearance.

A venerable leather/fetish shop in Royal Oak (Detroit 'burbs)... been around forever... they do fetish shows & have window displays that occasionally cause some controversy

I never go there 'cos the staff are amazingly rude & insufferably cooler-than-thou... or at least they were when I still lived in Detroit, for all I know they're all incredibly charming & helpful now... somehow I doubt it tho
