Andy will be doing a special set at Necto debuting material from his new EP Frost. We will also be having Draconian Productions throughout the bar, Temporary tattoo/professional body spray painting, a full photo studio set up for pics with yourself and friends wonderfully painted, drunk or with CombiChrist if your nice to him.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO RAISE OUR COVER ONE CENT. All of you have given us tremendous support over the last 4 years for that we are extremely grateful. This event is more about offering you the best possible night full of great memories than trying to make an extra dollar. We'll be having giveaways all evening of music, swag and what ever else we can come up with. The club will be fully decked out to offer you a unique experience that you've never had there before.

The trick is to make a posse for wherever you go. I made a whole new one on Saturday! It's so fun to meet new people... I kid you not, quickest way to make a posse is to just start introducing yourself to everyone. If you want me to show ya, I might drag my lazy butt up there.

I am so happy that I went to see Andy from Combichrist! Holy spumoni, that was one of the best dj sets I have heard and danced to in the longest time! And it makes me so proud of my hometown, Ann Arbor, that they are finally having a consistently good dj night somewhere. Figures they would start it the minute I moved away four years ago.

Please, no one take offense, this is just MY opinion, but I really wish City Club would have live dj-ing. I have never been there on a normal night when the dj's have actually mixed. It has always been like a fucking record party in a basement. Track, track, track. awkward pause, track, incongruous non-segway, track..... ad nauseum. Sigh.

I can only hope it gets better. My trusted sources say that not much has changed so I will go to CC not expecting much from the music and just for the people and whatever dancing I can muster.

I will definitely go to Factory Monday again while I am in town. I want to bring some of my friends who love to dance, so I can dance with them.

PS- I left a wee bit early because I had stupid shoes on and was getting blisters. It was still gorgeous when I left. Oh, and Andy is a f*(king hunka munka! I shook his hand, thanked him, said good bye blowing a kiss and felt star struck for a few minutes. I feel grateful. I hope to see him or Combichrist in Seattle sometime.

Sorry for those you waited in line and did not get in and thanks to all who came out. We were at more than full capacity with one person out, one person in by midnight. Glad we opened at 8. When I started doing this night four years ago I always wanted a night where it was wall to wall people with a line waiting to get in all night. Thanks to everyone from the staff to all of you who make this night happen every week. Special love to Becki for whom this night would have NEVER happened. I'm so glad we were able to not raise cover to give as many people as we could a chance to hear the show last night. Thank you all and fucking wow what a night.
