Hiya Mike,

Welcome to the place. I started out as a fine art major... actually that was the plan form the time i was in 6th grade all the way to about age 23 in college... when i sold out to the man and ended up doing computer tech (at first) and then MIS management later on. *sniffles*

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself. Glad to have you. You already covered much of the standard 'weclome mat questions" that AoD links to above but have a read through there if your so inclined. =)

Hopefully we can trick... er talk you into sticking around.

cheers,

-Troy

Oh and would you prefer your DGN name to just be "Mike" ? Makes it easier if you prefer to be called that, since most people are going to refer to you by whatever your profile name is. Just a option/suggestion.

HIGH-LOW!! I'm DBK, the annoyance of DGN. I'm easy to spot at City Club, I'm the crippled kid sporting blue hair and goggles!!

We will do everything we can to make you feel welcomed!! And if you have any questions, concerns or comments feel free to voice them!!

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
