Hi everyone! I met several of the board members last night at Prive's first goth night & was really excited to see that there is a community like this online!

A little about me, I'm Kristin & have been into Goth/industrial scene for 12 yrs. I have spent lots of time at City Club, Labyrinth, Necto, and even remember frequenting Ascension UK when it was around. :)

Detroit's got a great scene! Hope to meet as many of you as possible! :)

Welcome again,

Oh ... and would you prefer your DGN name to just be "Kristin" ? Whatever your DGN name is , is what people will end up calling you more often than not. Not trying to influence you one way or another, just an option if you want, i can change it.

International girls of mystery don't just go blabbing who they are to just anyone. You might have your card taken away for saying so openly ya know.... :Poke

What do you do for the car company you work for? I'm a designer at a supplier but have worked at an OEM too...

This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
