jup, that's german. Or rather german-turkish-slang *g*

And the original-song is from aerzte. Here you can listen to an audio sample of the song "Junge":

The text is a fathers sermon to his son, how he looks like, what kind of music he's listening to etc. etc... :)

I knew that was a Turkish flag!..the guy with the Rockin' beard has a German flag RIGHT?

So...Fledermaus...

Why are ALL the misshapen faced people in it?

AND are they in Turky or Germany...

yup, that's a german flag

seriously?

My english is not good enough to notice if someone is kidding me ;)

This song is a spoof of turkish stereotypes at germany and broaches the issue of the generation gap between the old turkish and the younger ones. The pictures are partly extrem exaggerated clichés, some germans might have of there turkish fellow citizen. AND most pictures are a kind of marginal (correct in that coherence?) black senseless humor, you can love or hate *g*

I'm not shure if this clip is turkish or german work *g*

If you wish I can try to translate the text.

omg! What did I say??? *narf*

Thank you, Fledermaus, for the explanation  Knowing nothing about German and Turkish culture, I NEVER would have been able to decipher even the slightest links within that bit.

As I recall, a lot of Turkish people came to Germany as "guestworkers", from the '70s on (I think- all this was explained to me like 20 years ago). So, their status is very roughly comparable to Mexicans in the US, or Koreans in Japan.

But never mind that- the real question is how can I meet the young guy right before the shot of the food-cart vendor? What an utterly gorgeous creature!
