High Tension

So Im intrested in hearing from any of you if you've watched the movie High Tension and what you think of the movie....Not just in general but what you really understood of the main character and if it was more then just you see in front of you type of movie.........

Good up until the tacked on ending which could in no way possible based on how the rest of the movie played out.

Loved the movie until the last 10 minutes. For a thought provoking analysis you'd need examples and thorough/specific details. Well, with that, I think we may be giving away major *spoilers* to those who have yet to see it but it's your thread. It will be interesting to hear other people's theories.

I saw it in Europe about 3 years ago as "Haute Tension", so I also saw a different version than you did. It's been cut quite a bit for violence.

i loved the way the movie presented a new twist on the whole multiple personality killer thing. the violence was great i was shocked that at how brutal she was. but i didnt get the begining the severed head blow job wats up with that?

I LOVED the movie, I was absolutely terrified watching it, and then the last ten minutes came and I've never been so angry. I suddenly turned into Annie Wilkes from Misery and wanted to yell "the f'd up the cockadoodie ending!"

It could have been an instant classic. So sad.

That's exactly my point. How could there NOT have been a "murderer", when they show that scene? Lol, here we go.

I still think the movie can be viewed one of two ways.....either as a dual character plot where she had a premonition of what was about to come and there really was a male murderer, in which she eventually turned into him as the time went on- so two murderers. one at the end.....

Or one could say that she was the one all this time and she had a crush on the other girly in which things didnt go as planned so her mind rewarded her by allowing others to either live or die......
