LadyWindstone Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 My boss, Richard Booth (a.k.a Baron Boom), has lost his battle with esophageal cancer. Anyone who knows such SCA events as SilverLeaf Renaisance Festival and Lillies will know Baron Boom. He was the one that put on the fireworks displays for these and other events (thus the name Baron Boom). He also sold swords and axes (the axes he made himself) at these events. If I remember correctly at Silverleaf they always set up near the Blue Dragons. A memorial service for him will be held on Thursday. I'll get more details as soon as i get them. Rest In Peace Baron Boom.
LadyWindstone Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 as an addendum to the above post. Here are the directions to the park where the memorial will be held for those who would like to go to pay their respects.
