What Has Happened To My Profile Page Content?

Is anyone else's profile page content not showing up?

Mine is wiped out, and I have noticed a few others whose content isn't showing either.

What is missing are: Topics, Gallery, Posts. I can't see those on mine either, for that matter....

This matter was brought up to me last night, we are looking into it.. we have contacted our provider service, we will hopefully get it up and running again like normal sometime soon.

I looked into it last night. There have been no admin changes to the board in the last few days, so whatever is causing it is something on the server side. Everything was working fine as of 48 / 72 ish hours ago and there have been no moderator changes to the board since then. (Other than the usual topical stuff)

There is a ticket in to the service provider that DGN runs on at the moment (Invision Power Services). I wouldn't expect this one to get fixed too quickly as I'm going to take a guess and say the fix will require some sort of rebuild, which means, all the customizations of DGN will get wiped (but not user content, like pictures/posts etc). If that's the fix, its a harsh mistress. Since it will set DGN back to "default" and at the moment I'm not up for 30+ hours of DGN reconstruction, DGN being a non-paying job and all.

The initial answer i got from IPS was "don't know whats wrong... reset your board." Which, I'm not taking as a final answer since that involves way to much work. Escalated the ticket to get a better answer.

Oh and as for the "content" itself, its all still there. The tabs on your profile just "point" to the posts/gallery and such. Nothing happened to the actual posts/pictures, its the pointers from the profiles that are missing for whatever, still undetermined reasons.

If you do it the old fashioned way:

Click On The Users Name > Find Members Posts (Or "options" within the profile)

Click On The Users Name > Find Members Topics (Or "options" within the profile)

Click On "My Pictures" below their gallery pictures. (Or just brows the gallery)

Its all still there.

The tabbed info feature of profiles is a new-ish feature that didn't even exist prior to the newest version of the board.

All is well and everything went back to normal for me sometime between 7:30 and 11:00 this evening. Thank you Sir!

It seems to be fixed now. The tech tried to tell me i changed a file in the /Kernel directory, which... yeah right, i havent even logged on to the FTP client to even LOOK at the directory in like 2 months. But whatever, at least they decided it wasn't a problem with "the skin" (and thus unsupported) and was actually a deeper issue that they needed to fix.

Leme know if we see any further issue with the profile tabs. It does seem fixed at least for now.
