:peanutbutterjellytime:Hi everyone. Thank you very much for the warm welcome, it was definitely appreciated.[b]Current location? Royal Oak.

Where from? Royal Oak. Born and raised.

Gender? Last time I checked, I was female.

Work? I work at the Detroit Zoo in Rides & Attractions. I love my job. Come find me.

School? I am currently attending Oakland Community College, working towards my Assoc. in Mental Health and Social Work, and then I plan to transfer to Oakland University and obtain my Bach. in Psychology. Eventually, I'd like to go on up to my Masters, and someday earn my Doctorates so I can be a Clinical Psychologist.

Kids? Oh god no.

Married? Oh god no.

Single? Yep.

Hobbies? I like reading and writing. I used to draw a lot, but with age came more of a social life, so I haven't really had the time or the interest lately. I paint occasionally, but not lately. I like to party, but that usually turns into watching other people party and cleaning up after them, which is fine because I do enjoy the drunken hugs I get. I like clubbin', and staying out till all hours of the morning doing nothing. I'm into driving with the windows down and singing at the top of my lungs with one of my best friends in the passenger seat. I like laughing and making people happy. I like cooking for large groups of people and making 2am snackage runs to 7Eleven. Oh, and I really like orange juice and mexican food.

How Did You Find DGN? MissKitty. Thanks, Katy. Ily, hoe.

Other Stuff? To Phee: Me too.

Woo!! You should do that. I drive tram most days, and I work at the Wild Adventure Simulator things, but you won't see me at the train.

Glad you found this thread.

Making people happy is a good thing to like. :) The zoo is good fun too. Although these "rides" must be new, me not having been there in years. I usually went to the zoo for the animals. Crazy I know! :p

I'm always SAYING I'm going to get down to the Zoo, The Science Center and the DIA although something always gets in the way. *pushes at in-the-way-stuff*

Hopefully we'll see you around DGN more often.

welcome again,

-Troy

This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
